Measuring Horse Rugs. 
Horseware rugs are sized at 3 inch intervals. To size your horse you should measure from the centre of the chest around the shoulder in a straight line to the point on the quarters that is directly in line with the top of the tail. Take 4" off for a turnout rug and 7" off for a stable rug (your horse will probably need one size larger for the turnout than for his stable rug)

As horses vary so much in girth and build it is essential to take these measurements before purchasing your rug.
